Retreat & Summit Cancellation Policy
Empowered Escapes, LLC creates transformational retreat and summit experiences designed for therapists, entrepreneurs, and helping professionals. Due to the significant planning and contractual commitments required for these events, the following cancellation policy applies to all registrations.

Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot at any Empowered Escapes event. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, illness, travel disruptions, or changes in personal plans.

Participant Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your participation, the following refund structure applies:

120+ days prior to the start of the event
Participants may receive a full refund of payments made, minus the non-refundable $500 deposit, or elect to receive a credit toward a future Empowered Escapes event.

90–119 days prior to the start of the event
Participants may receive a 50% refund of retreat or summit fees paid, minus the non-refundable $500 deposit, or elect to receive a credit toward a future Empowered Escapes event.

Within 90 days of the start of the event
All payments are non-refundable. Participants may request a credit toward a future Empowered Escapes event, which may be granted at the sole discretion of Empowered Escapes, LLC.

Registration Transfers
Participants may transfer their registration to another individual if they are unable to attend.

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing

Transfers must be completed no later than 30 days prior to the event

The original registrant is responsible for coordinating financial arrangements with the new attendee

Transfers are subject to final approval by Empowered Escapes, LLC

Travel Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

Travel insurance may provide protection in the event of:

illness or medical emergencies

travel delays or cancellations

airline disruptions

family emergencies

governmental travel restrictions or geopolitical instability

Empowered Escapes, LLC is not responsible for travel-related expenses, including airfare, lodging, transportation, or other travel costs incurred by participants.

Event Cancellation or Postponement by Organizer
If Empowered Escapes, LLC must cancel or postpone an event, participants will receive a full refund of retreat or summit registration fees paid.

Empowered Escapes, LLC is not responsible for additional travel-related costs, including airfare, hotel reservations, travel insurance, or transportation expenses.

Force Majeure
Empowered Escapes, LLC is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

natural disasters

pandemics or public health emergencies

war or terrorism

civil unrest

governmental travel restrictions

airline shutdowns or travel disruptions

geopolitical instability

acts of God

In such cases, Empowered Escapes, LLC reserves the right to reschedule the event or offer credit toward a future event.

Participant Conduct
Empowered Escapes, LLC reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise negatively impacts the retreat environment.

Participants removed from an event due to conduct concerns will not receive a refund.
