TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Event Title: Doubt Yourself Do It Anyway 3-Day Summit — Portland, Maine

1. Event Overview
The Empowered Escapes 3-Day Summit is an in-person professional-development and experiential event for mental-health professionals, coaches, and entrepreneurs seeking inspiration, community, and practical strategies for business growth and personal fulfillment.
Programming will include keynote talks, breakout workshops, networking sessions, and experiential components designed to help participants reconnect with purpose and expand their impact.

2. Registration and Payment
Registration is confirmed only after full payment is received.


Payment plans may be available; all installments must be completed before the event start date.


Registrations are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Empowered Escapes LLC.


A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.



3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that life happens, and plans can change. Empowered Escapes LLC aims to balance fairness to participants with the significant upfront costs of event planning.
Refund Timeline:
More than 150 days before the event (before April 4, 2026):
Full refund minus a $150 administrative fee.


Between 149 and 91 days before the event (April 5 – June 2, 2026):
50% refund of the registration fee.


Within 90 days of the event start date (after June 3, 2026):
No refunds will be issued for any reason, as venue and vendor costs are finalized.


Transfer Requests:
Registrations are transferable to another qualified participant until August 1, 2026, provided written notice is received at info@empoweredescapes.com.


Transfers after August 1, 2026, are not guaranteed and are subject to administrative approval.


Event Cancellation or Rescheduling:
In the rare event that Empowered Escapes LLC cancels or reschedules the summit due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, natural disaster, venue closure, or other force majeure event), participants will be offered:
A full refund of registration fees, or


The option to transfer their registration to a rescheduled or comparable event.


Empowered Escapes LLC is not responsible for reimbursement of travel, lodging, or any personal expenses incurred as a result of event changes or cancellations.

4. Travel and Lodging
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation and lodging unless otherwise specified in their registration package. A list of recommended accommodations and airports will be provided upon registration.

5. Continuing Education (if applicable)
If CE hours are offered, participants must attend sessions in full, complete sign-in/out requirements, and submit post-event evaluations to receive credit. CE certificates will be sent via email within 14 days after the event.

6. Code of Conduct
Empowered Escapes LLC is committed to cultivating an inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming, and identity-safe environment.
Participants agree to:
Treat others with respect and empathy.


Refrain from discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior.


Honor confidentiality of personal stories shared.
The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant violating these guidelines without refund.



7. Intellectual Property
All slides, handouts, recordings, and other materials provided during the event are the intellectual property of Empowered Escapes LLC and/or its speakers.
Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without prior written permission.


Participants may use materials for personal or professional inspiration only.



8. Media Release
By attending the summit, you consent to photography, audio, and video recording that may be used for promotional or educational purposes by Empowered Escapes LLC.
If you do not wish to appear in such media, please notify staff in writing before the event.

9. Liability Waiver
By registering, participants acknowledge that:
Attendance is voluntary and for educational/personal-growth purposes only.


Empowered Escapes LLC and its affiliates assume no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property occurring before, during, or after the event.


Participants are responsible for their own travel and personal health coverage.



10. Accessibility and Inclusivity
Empowered Escapes LLC strives to make all events accessible and affirming for neurodivergent and disabled participants. Please email jennifer@empoweredescapes.com by August 1, 2026 with any accommodation requests (sensory needs, mobility support, dietary restrictions, etc.).

11. Force Majeure
Empowered Escapes LLC shall not be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or acts of God.

12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas.
